About Us
|
North Shore Extreme Cheerleading is a bilingual non-profit sports organization, located on the West Island of Montreal. We have been providing youth with the opportunity to participate in the sport of competitive cheerleading for over 45 years. We are governed by an elected executive board and our program is overseen by an experienced and fully USASF certified technical team of coaches and a gym director. Our coaching staff is offered extensive technical, coaching and first aid training annually. We also offer an unique CIT program to develop and mentor future coaches.
NSX has always been an active member of the community and is involved in the growth and development of the sport in the province. We host the provinces largest friendly competition, Cheerfest and partner with the cities of Dorval, Pierrefonds, Dollard des Ormeaux and Ile Bizard for many community events. We lend our presences at parades, charitable events, community celebrations and football games. Our competitive teams start at 3 years of age through to Adult. We also offer recreational cheerleading, tumbling classes, as well as cheerleading day camps and birthday parties. North Shore even provides a Sports-étude program in association with many schools on the Island of Montréal. |
